About University of Southern Mississippi Baseball
On three occasions, over the past 5 years, the University of Southern Mississippi has held the title as Conference USA Champions. USM is eager to continue past success. This success can be recognized by the 11 consecutive 30+ wins. In 2009, the Golden Eagles garnished a Super Regional Championship win that sent the team to the College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska. Not only have players succeeded at USM, 75 former baseball players have participated in Professional Baseball. Former Southern Miss shortstop, Brian Dozier, is actively playing for the Minnesota Twins. Further more, approximately 80% of past rosters have been filled by University of Southern Mississippi Baseball Camp participants.
We are very excited about the opportunity to invite you to our baseball camps. Our Kid Camps focus on instructing fundamental skills such as hitting, base running, and primary and secondary defensive positions. We have 2 Kid’s Camps; one session in June, one session in July.
Our high school camps are the Summer Showcase Camp, Day Pitching / Catching Camp (Summer), Fall Instructional Camp, Pitching / Catching Under the Lights Camp (Fall), Hitting Under the Lights Camp (Fall), Fall Showcase Camp (Fall), Winter Showcase Camp (January). These Camps are designed to give instruction through lecture and hands on experiences.
If you have any questions about our camps, please feel free to contact Coach Ladd Rhodes at email@example.com.
